Continuing the releases from their successful debut album Zaba, Oxford’s Glass Animals unveil the visual accompaniment to the single “Black Mambo.” Interpreting the hallucinogenic nature of their hazy sounds and drawing credits from the song title, the video follows a guy’s delusory experience through a jungle following the consumption of snake skin. On the video, director David Helman comments “The concept for “Black Mambo” started with this theme of deception. I was working out ideas and listening to the track, it always felt like the lightness of the melody was a mask for some darker narrative.”
Watch the interpretative clip above and catch them live as they embark on a hefty tour next month throughout Europe and North America, dates can be spied here.
