Following the announcement of Cristiano Ronaldo‘s signature Nike Mercurial Superfly CR7 with the Swoosh, the international soccer star has also unveiled a casual and formal footwear line bearing the same CR7 name (check it out at CR7Footwear.com). Nike has responded negatively to Ronaldo’s new footwear line due to a conflict of interest and has delivered an ultimatum to the soccer star to drop his newly launched casual footwear CR7 brand or have his sponsorship with Nike void. Worth a significant €9 million EUR a year (approximately $10.2 million USD), Ronaldo’s exclusive contract with Nike puts the Real Madrid forward in a choosy dilemma.
