Junya Watanabe has unveiled the 2015 fall/winter lookbook for COMME des GARCONS Homme. The latest offerings focuses on revamping traditional, formal menswear pieces through a modernist approach. A decipherable urban edge is emitted with each look, the majority of which consists of a cotton collar shirt, wool blazer or jacket, and rolled black trousers. Splashes of color throughout the line draws attention to certain pieces, such as the bright yellow, hooded quilted jacket, layered over a patterned vest and collar shirt, or the pink collar shirt, matched with an olive green velvet vest. A red coat sporting buttoned front pockets, placed over a striped blue and white oxford shirt is yet another noteworthy combination that challenges what constitutes as acceptable attire when considering dressier options. Fedora hats complete the primp outfits.
