Online magazine Feel Desain brings classic paintings to life through its latest “Revived Artworks” project. Led by artists Marco Gallo and Luciano Aiello, the graphics animate iconic portraits like Leonard da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, Van Gogh’s self portrait and Johannes Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring with dynamic facial expressions — a few that even seem to eerily gaze right at you. The duo has currently adapted nine historic artworks, ranging from Edward Munch’s “The Scream” to Frida Kahlo’s self-portrait, and plans on including additional animated graphics in the near future. Head over to the project site for more.
