Tyga Thinks Billboard’s “Greatest Rappers” List Is Dated
T-Raww lists two rappers that he thought should’ve made it.

Recently, The Game shared his dissatisfaction with Billboard‘s “Top 10 Greatest Rappers” list and provided his own. The #EggplantFriday mastermind isn’t the only rapper to be unhappy with the list. Recently, while celebrating his 26th birthday, Tyga appeared on Power 106 Los Angeles for a short interview. During the conversation, he shared his disagreements Billboard‘s conclusions, and although he wasn’t nearly as heated as The Game, he named two artists that he especially felt should have been recognized.
“My thing is I think that you can’t put Kendrick on there and not put—See, it’s different because it’s like I just feel like this is a lot of older people. So, it’d be like the greatest rappers of all time if this came out [in] 2005. You gotta give Drake (who he once had beef with) his credit. You gotta give J. Cole credit. As far as new…It’s their magazine. And that’s their opinion. Another magazine [would] put out a different opinion. [...] JAY Z, when you look back at it, he gave us A, B, and C. He gave us Kanye. Kanye gave us Common, Big Sean. Birdman gave us Wayne, Juvenile. Wayne gave y’all me, Drake, Nicki. And then so on. You know what I mean? So, it’s like who’s really contributing to the game when it’s all said and done.”
