Shinola Leather Goods 2015 Fall/Winter Lookbook
From watches and bicycles to leather goods.

Shinola of Detroit, Michigan is synonymous for its highly-trained workers that craft quality Detroit-built products using honed technical skill and labor. Its history ranges from the production of precision watches and journals to pet accessories and artisanal bicycles.
With its past techniques and practices firmly in mind to this day, Shinola introduces its 2015 fall/winter collection of fine leather goods; a softer contrast to its metallic manufactured products. The Leather Goods lookbook gives us a clean presentation that showcases the quality and craftsmanship synonymous with the brand. Richard Lambertson, co-design director of Leather Accessories alongside John Truex who both joined Shinola in August 2014, claims “this collection is a great combination of our aesthetic, and the modern attitude and timeless style seen throughout the Shinola brand.” A selection of appropriately-sized travel bags, handbags, backpacks, wallets and cases are available in a mix of dark browns, blacks and tan color variations for easy pairing with casual outfits. Subtle details like matching leather zipper pulls, shallow embossing of the logo and polished metal hardware accentuate the overall package, perfect for weekend trips or everyday commutes to the office.
