American-made in “Purple Heather” and “Cathay Spice.”
No sneaker label does premium American-made kicks like New Balance and the latest take on the 997 is a perfect example. Sporting a predominately burgundy-esque “Purple Heather” upper, the M997DSLR comes draped in suede and leather with a mesh toe box as “Cathay Spice”-colored leather decorates the eyestay, tongue and signature “N” logo. Finishing touches include embroidered white text branding, a matching ENCAP midsole and a black rubber outsole.
Finished with burgundy laces, the M997DSLR is available from Premier now for $260 USD.
