IISE Explores the Underbelly of Korea in Latest Fashion Film
Featuring a beat set to samplings of traditional Korean instruments.
IISE shows off its debut Fall/Winter 2015 clothing collection in film format following a lookbook shot by Christina Paik. Titled “001,” the collection marks the brand’s first foray into streetwear, expanding its repertoire from a solid offering of sleek bag designs. Featuring an array of wardrobe mainstays, the garments are constructed from a hybrid of both traditional Korean and modern materials, such as the “mu-myung” and “guangmok” fabrics that are native cottons of Korea’s traditional garb. The simply designed clothes are shown against industrial and dilapidated environments, while a beat composed of sampled traditional Korean instruments sets the tone for the collection. You can shop the “001″ collection online now at IISE.
