The 1990 World Series is a defining moment in the sports history of Ohio, when the Cincinnati Reds and its “Nasty Boys” pitchers took the title in an unprecedented upset over favorite Oakland A’s and its Bash Brothers, winning Cincinnati its first championship in 14 years. To commemorate this resounding victory, Cincinnati skate and sneaker boutiques, Anonymous and UNheardof, collaborated with Nike SB this season to outfit the Nike SB Dunk Low in eye-catching red and grey with a prominent gold Swoosh, and the Dunk High in white, green and yellow. An Old Glory patch also adorns the heels of the sneakers, mirroring the patches that the team wore in observance of the then-ongoing Gulf War. Releasing on December 4, the Dunks will be available exclusively at Anonymous and UNheardof.
