Superflat artist Takashi Murakami’s work spans from the likes of sneaker collaborations to that of elaborate canvases, and now Murakami is extending his hand to provide support for artists who will hopefully follow in his footsteps. His vision of fun is expressed in the recent curation of a ceramic-based exhibition located in Los Angeles, California at the Blum Poe Gallery, where his showcase sheds light on ceramists such as the Otani Workshop, Yuji Ueda and Kazunori Hamana. The exhibition will span up until October 24 and will host eye-catching pieces that mix old and modern Japanese practices.
