Steve McQueen's 1934 Indian Sport Scout Motorcycle Is up for Auction
Own a piece of the legendary actor’s famed bike collection.

Noted actor Steve McQueen (not to be confused with the award-winning director) was a celebrated male icon who was most famous in the ’60s. An avid motorcycle collector, McQueen was particularly fond of Indian Motorcycle – the Springfield, Massachusetts-based motorcycle manufacturer whose hallmark lies with classic American models. This month, the celebrated actor’s 1934 Indian Sport Scout, a slimmer version of Indian’s classic Scout model, will be put up for auction.
The lightweight model runs on a 750 cc engine and features an ivory and black paint job, an open frame, and a Euro-style fork. The bike will also come with a UK V5C registration document and a Certificate of Title from the State of Idaho signed by McQueen himself. The current owner originally purchased this Sport Scout from Bonhams in 2006 and remains in good condition. This 1934 Indian Sport Scout motorcycle will be up for auction October 18 at Staffordshire County Showground through Bonhams with an estimated sale price of $83,600–$99,000 USD.
