DC Celebrates Harold Hunter Day 2015
HH Day IX.
This past Sunday, DC helped honor the skateboard legend at the Coleman Oval/LES Skatepark in NYC with the celebration of the 9th annual Harold Hunter Day (dubbed HH Day IX by the Harold Hunter Foundation). Formed in 2007, the Foundation is a community-based organization committed to providing inner-city youth with “support, opportunity, and advocacy,” to help them reach their full potentials through skateboarding. The New York skate community came together, joined by the likes of Wes Kremer, Evan Smith, Cyril Jackson, and Tristan Funkhouser, to help celebrate the occasion.
