Those excited to see Martin Scorsese, Robert De Niro and Leonardo DiCaprio finally collaborate on a project are finally appeased, although perhaps not fulfilled. While the three have yet to star in a full-length endeavor, they come together in a cinematic new project – The Audition – created to promote two new casinos in Macau and Manila. Scorsese, De Niro and DiCaprio all play themselves in the forthcoming short film, with the two actors unexpectedly pit against each other for the same role. From the above trailer, The Audition seems a lighthearted piece rife with self-mockery and humor – a welcome shift in roles for the otherwise serious players.
