Joey Bada$$ has made a big debut on the charts this week with his debut full-length album, B4.DA.$$, entering the Billboard 200 at No. 5. The LP, which features Action Bronson and Elle Varner, moved 58,000 units in its first week and topped both R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and Rap Albums. It is worth pointing out that 94% of that number coming from actual sales and not streams. Lupe Fiasco‘s Tetsuo & Youth beats his own personal projections this week, 35,740 copies of his album actually sold, and a total of 44,000 with streams.
In other chart-related news, Fall Out Boy achieved their third No. 1 album of their career, with American Beauty/American Psycho moving a total of 218,000 units with streams included. This number also signifies the biggest week of sales for a rock group in the last two years, with only Coldplay’s Ghost Stories selling more. See the Top 10 album charts below.
