With the Scandinavian fashion scene in an undeniable bloom, Copenhagen’s Fashion Week has been something of a low-key spectacle for the past few years. With labels like Henrik Vibskov at the forefront, it’s easy to see why. The designer’s eponymous line has just unveiled its collection for Fall/Winter 2015 – a complex, geometric affair that, despite its eccentricities, still preserves the clean minimalism we’ve come to expect from the brand. Of particular note: Vibskov creates adventurously draping trousers, drawing from kilt and perhaps even harem silhouettes to offer flowing men’s options, elsewhere unveiling brilliantly complicated outerwear such as oversized vests and shawls. These bold pieces are contrasted by imaginative takes on the standards – blazers, cable knit crewnecks, blazers, etc. – all of which round out this impressive offering from Henrik Vibskov.
