Essentials: Alex Sossah

Today’s Essentials belongs to Alex Sossah, a renowned influencer and trendsetter. A self-proclaimed fashion lover, Sossah’s personal style was born while working at the Clignancourt flea market, immersing himself in the vintage and sportswear trends of the time. A few years later, Sossah began his career in the music industry, rapidly amassing an impressive network of contacts through booking and touring with DJs and singers, eventually leading him to the WAD team in 2008. By 2010, Sossah worked on the launch of wadmag.com, and was regularly consulted for special “influencer-targeting” projects with brands such as Casio, Renault, Swatch, Diesel and Bread&Butter. He then became the creative director of WAD, lending them his unique vision influenced by his background in fashion and music. The trendsetter has an unmistakable eye for contemporary musical talents, and advises artists such as Theophilius London, A$AP Rocky, Travi$ Scott and FKA twigs. In addition, Sossah also works with Nike to advise on the brand’s premium lines and special projects strategies.
