Casely-Hayford continues to push its eccentric patterns and bright colors, evidenced by its 2015 fall/winter collection unveiled at London Collections: Men. The label’s European aesthetic is embellished by loud prints, grunge overlays and futuristic shades. Knits are the overseeing fabric of choice, with looks ranging from oversized sweaters to a slouchy red and black patterned sweater, matched with a coinciding patterned loose coat and solid black trousers. Knitwear has also been applied to other pieces from the line including trousers, a navy blue one-button cape, scarves, thick flannels, and coats. Complete looks included the pairing of a large checkered jacket, patterned scarf, solid black sweater and patterned wool trousers, as well as a bomber style olive green overcoat layered over a black elongated hoodie, a solid black sweater, and trousers. Even the simple act of tying a top around the waist provides an exaggerated, bulky silhouette, which boldly goes against the grain of today’s overarching fashion fads in a refreshing manner.
