To ensure that everything runs as smoothly as possible, the rising R&B singer has shared her , fittingly tiltled “Don’t Kill The Fun.” The freestyle-influenced jam finds her sharing the microphone with Chris Brown as she pays homage to the feel-good 1990s dance scene. Says Streeter:
“In terms of my music, dating, my style, bleaching my hair ice blue. ‘Don’t Kill the Fun’ is the perfect umbrella for everything in my life right now. I had a really good time creating this song, which is a fuse of ’90s house music and today’s trappier, ratchet-y drums. I liked fusing the two and didn’t want to take it too seriously. We take too many things too seriously. We get frustrated with our jobs sometimes, but there’s somebody preying for our jobs, so let’s just enjoy them and have a good time.”
