Following up its video lookbook presentation back in July, VICO provides a closer look at its 2014 fall/winter “London Fields” collection. From its ambitious local businesses, historical architecture and more specifically, the Broadway Market, this seasonal range pays tribute to the inviting London borough of Hackney. With musician and local entrepreneur Guillermo “Gizmo” Varillas as a model, each piece of footwear – from a pair of low-cut sneakers to casual leather work boots – VICO chose to limit its color palette to black, grey, cognac, oxblood and even navy as a nod to the raw beauty of London. The “London Fields” collection will begin retailing around the globe soon.
