Vans Partners with Huichol Tribe to Create Limited Handcrafted Vault Capsule

Continuing on with the same indigenous theme as the Cartel 011 x Converse collaboration featured earlier this week, Vans has drawn on the artistic tradition and craftsmanship of the Huichol tribe from Mexico to create these unique renditions of the Classic Slip-On and Sk8-Hi. The Huichol tribe, who originate from the mountainous regions of Jalisco and Nayarit, were tasked to hand-embroid beaded sidestripe overlays and ankle pendants onto the premium suede upper of the Sk8-Hi. Conversely, the Classic Slip-On exhibits the Huichol craft of yarn painting. The Huichol x Vault by Vans capsule collection will be limited to 360 pairs worldwide, which can be found at various retailers beginning September 20. For more information, head over to Vault by Vans.
