Kendrick Lamar's "i" Is Not a Single, It's a Statement

With his latest record “i” currently feeding his fans’ appetite, Kendrick Lamar continues his media rounds in promoting the single. During his latest visit to Power 106, for Jeff G.’s Foul Balls segment, K. Dot broke down some of this week’s key match-ups in the NFL and also provided some thoughtful insight on his future releases.

I want to retract the word single, I want to call these releases ‘statements.’ Because this music is something world has to hear and it’s not only for me, but it’s for the stressed, the depressed and our livelihood. And, when I came back on my release I wanted to do just that.
