Rounding out Nike Sportswear‘s new releases for the 2014 U.S. Open and joining the Hiroshi Fujiwara-designed fragment design x Nike Court Collection of apparel and footwear is a patriotic red, white and blue edition of the Air Tech Challenge II. Honoring Andre Agassi‘s debut of the 1990 original, the latest take on Tinker Hatfield‘s groundbreaking tennis sneaker pairs a stark white toe with metallic hues of blue and red as metallic gold “USA” branding adorns the heel. Finally, Nike’s retro Court logo hits the shoe in the form of an enamel/metal dubre. Like the rest of NSW’s Court Collection, the U.S. Open-inspired Air Tech Challenge II will be available exclusively from NikeLab beginning August 21.
