MINI has just kicked off this year’s edition of its ”MINI TAKE THE STATES 2014,” a 14-day rally of owners and fans taking place over 18 states and 15 cities. Happening every other year, this is the 5th rally. Starting in San Francisco and ending in Boston, MINI owners from across the country and world share their passion for the iconic brand. Motorers of particular mention included Alex Coyle, the winner of the Final Test Test Drive campaign and Torre Sauter, who shipped his MINI all the way from Germany to take part in the event.
MINI owners are a diverse group and it shows in the customization of their vehicles. Each MINI is as unique as its owner and owners take pride in expressing themselves through their car.
In addition to the motorers, MINI fans and families, another highlight of the event was the large number of pets and other animals that turned out thanks to a partnership with charity Best Friends Animal Society, which will also be hosting adoption events at select dealerships along the route.
