For the upcoming Fall/Winter 2014 season, British menswear label Lyle & Scott recently collaborated with Jonathan Saunders to produce a lineup that seamlessly blends a shared Scottish kinship, the brand’s 1960s golfing-inspired aesthetic, and a modern twist courtesy of the Glaswegian-born designer’s skill with color, print and graphics.
Featuring a total of 30 pieces, the collection includes Scottish-made Royal Warranted knitwear, Italian merino wool mid-layers and brand classics including a polo, woven shirt, golf Harrington and several footwear offerings. Certainly outspoken in terms of palette, each piece is tied to the brand’s 140-year heritage with the brand’s eagle logo, which appears in one of four colors to match.
