Despite its particular popularity on American shores, basketball too strives to be a global game. LeBron James, Kyrie Irving, and even coaches like Eric Spoelstra are already international icons-to-be for the game, but one Kobe Bryant stands tall as one of basketball’s greatest ambassadors to the world. As a part of Nike’s “RISE” campaign through Asia, the brand has unveiled a very special version of the ever-popular Kobe 9 EM, released as a part of the “CH” pack. Here we find the Kobe 9 EM XDR executed in a vibrant red, black and white color scheme, accented with regal gold detailing at the Swoosh, lace loops and heel panel. At the tongue, Nike wittily combined Kobe’s signature “Black Mamba” symbol with rich red and gold stitching, creating a beautiful and unique offering for Asian audiences.
