While New Yorkers may look to Central Park and the Parisians to the Seine river, Koreans visit Seoul’s Han River as it has played an important role in their rich history and economic growth. For the 2015 spring/summer season, Munsoo Kwon looks to this reality as a source of inspiration for a collection that is described as a “kite flies over Han River on a lazy afternoon.” A tribute to this watery highway and the emotional comfort it provides, the above blend of sportswear with modern suiting draws some of its inspiration from the architectural details of the bridges and buildings that run through and along the river.
