Asher Roth treats his fans with a new video for his “Party At The Disco” featuring ZZ Ward off of his much slept-on second album RetroHash. Directed by Ken Koller and shot entirely on 8mm film and digital, the visual gives off a laid-back summertime. The clip was shot all over southern Calif.: Santa Monica Beach and Pier, Joshua Tree, Death Valley and Sequoia National Parks. It also serves as the first of a three-part series which tells the story heard in Roth’s latest album. The video series chronicles the story of his getaway from the city’s craziness (“Parties at the Disco”), his detachment from his ego (“Last of the Flohicans”), to finally arriving at nirvana (“Pull it”).
