Art zine Arkitip has decided to feature the Ludlow Street hangout of Max Fish in New York for its 60th issue. Conceived by German-born Ulli Rimkus in 1989, the beloved bar closed its doors in 2013 after being a hugely popular location for New York’s most artistic, providing a haven for creative minds. Despite it being closed, Arkitip has joined forces with Converse Cons to bring out a 144-page eulogy featuring interviews, anecdotes, photos and artwork from all those affiliated with the bar — from owners to customers. Limited to 500 numbered copies, each order comes with a NYC liquor store bag and a limited edition Converse Max Fish bar towel. Enjoy the video below of how this came to fruition and click here to pre-order a copy now.
