French artist JR brings his globe-spanning “Inside Out” project back to his home country, unveiling the latest installation in the series on the Panthéon in Paris, France. Officially opened just today, the project adorns the historic neoclassical building with portraits taken between February and March. The result makes an interesting juxtaposition between the iconic building and the citizens it accommodates, underlining the cheeky title of the project. The exterior dome of the building, as well as the inside walkways, have been taken over by the portraits – which were taken at eight French monuments between February and March. If in the Paris area, be sure to visit the Panthéon while the installation remains.
