Hitting theaters in the midst of the summer blockbuster season is director Brett Ratner’s take on mythological hero Hercules. First previewed earlier this year and starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in the title role, Ratner’s Hercules is based on the graphic novel Hercules: The Thracian Wars and sees the Greek demigod completing his legendary 12 labors before being summoned as a sword-for-hire by the King of Thrace to defeat a tyrannical warlord.
Hercules is set to hit theaters July 25.
