First revealed as part of Nike Basketball’s 2014 Elite Series, the “Hero” edition of the Kobe 9 takes the spotlight in a new set of shots. Marked by its detail-packed woven upper and extra-high collar, the shoe gets a nice contrast from the bits of charcoal adorning the midsole as well as the standout purple Swoosh. Finishing touches include the embossed pattern on the heel of the sole and signature Kobe elements throughout the package. The Nike Kobe 9 Elite “Hero” is expected to drop on May 9 with a price tag of $225 USD.
