Hot on the heels of its previous collaboration with Vans Vault and chef Chuck Hughes, Montreal’s Off The Hook presents its upcoming collaboration with DC Shoes. The fourth collaboration between the two, this time around Off The Hook has focused its attention on the DC Shoes Unilite Flex Trainer silhouette. Dubbed the “Five Roses,” the shoe takes inspiration from Montreal, and one of its icons in particular: the Farine Five Roses building. The shoe’s grey upper is a reference to the city’s high-rises and concrete surfaces while the burgundy accents reference the hue of the Farine Five Roses building and the brick walls inside Off The Hook. The rugged, abrasion-resistant sole pays homage to the Five Roses building and its enduring place in Montreal’s cityscape. A printed insole featuring the iconic building, and both collaborator’s logos, ensures you don’t forget what you’re repping when you lace these up. The limited edition Unilite Flex Trainer “Five Roses” will be available at Off The Hook on April 16 for $120 USD.
