In anticipation for their upcoming album Ghost Stories, Coldplay have teamed up with NBC for an hour-long television special. Set to air on May 18 at 7 p.m. Eastern, the piece will show the band playing song from their sixth album, which arrives one dat later. The press release states that “360-degree imagery” has been employed to mix the live footage with “cinematic film.” In related news, Coldplay performed the new Ghost Stories song “Oceans” on BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge today.
