After canceling his performance during the second weekend of Coachella on Sunday, details Chance the Rapper‘s condition have surfaced. His manager, Patrick Corcoran, posted a letter (see below) on Twitter updating fans that Chance had 104-degree fever and was unable to speak due to the inflammation in his throat. He was admitted to the hospital and has since returned to his L.A. home where he is recovering. According to the doctors, his illness to a combination of the flu and tonsillitis. He is scheduled to see a specialist this week to determine if surgery is necessary. Per doctors’ orders, he has canceled his remaining shows during the week of April 23-27. Read the letter below.
