Despite proclamations that he would “never make tennis shoes,” Tom Ford has done exactly that, crafting a set of ultra-luxurious trainers to coincide with his Fall/Winter 2014 collection. Despite the casual silhouette, Ford stays true to his penchant for formal wear, dressing the sneakers in luxurious leather – polished over the course of three days – and velvet along with clean tonal colorways and subtle branding. Seen here in low-top form and also set to be available as a high-top, Ford’s sneakers will be available as early as June 2014 with prices starting at £420 GBP (approximately $700 USD).
