Everyone’s favorite turtles are set to return to the big screen this summer with the release of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot from Paramount Pictures, Nickelodeon, producer Michael Bay and director Jonathan Liebesman. The film tells a familiar tale: darkness has settled over New York City as Shredder and his evil Foot Clan have taken hold of everything from the the city’s police to the politicians – thus, the future looks grim before four outcast brothers rise from the sewers to save the city and unravel Shredder’s plans. Starring Megan Fox as April O’Neil, William Fichtner as Shredder, Danny Woodburn as Splinter and Pete Ploszek, Alan Ritchson, Noel Fisher and Jeremy Howard as the turtles, the latest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film is set to hit theaters August 8.
