Rihanna‘s strong affiliation with fashion is no new news, as the songstress has graced numerous magazine covers and front-row seats of Fashion Weeks, and is even set to be the face of Balmain for this Spring 2014. It comes as now surprise, therefore, that Rihanna is set to receive this years CFDA Fashion Icon Award that will be awarded to her this June in New York. Announced yesterday by The Council of Fashion Designers of America Inc, previous winners include Johnny Depp, Lady Gaga, Iman, Kate Moss and more.
