Keeping up with his promotional mode for his role in Need For Speed, which opens in theaters this weekend, KiD CuDi stopped by The Arsenio Hall Show on Friday. The Cleveland native opened the show by performing “Internal Bleeding,” off his Satellite Flight: The Journey To Mother Moon LP before sitting down with the show’s host to discuss releasing the new album as a surprise, the state of hip-hop, his personal mission as a musician, and the creative limitations of today’s rap music:
“I think the braggadocio ‘Money, Cash, Hoes’ thing needs to be deaded. I feel like that’s holding us back as a culture, as black people, that doesn’t advance us in any way, shape, or form.”
