Less than two weeks ago Mexican food chain Chiptole filed a lawsuit against singer Frank Ocean for not fulfilling his agreement to perform “Pure Imagination,” which was later handed over to Fiona Apple. Ocean initially accepted the gig and for agreeing was granted an advance for $212,500, which the corporation was demanding back. The Odd Future singer later responded by showing a scanned check for the asked amount, along with a memo that said, “FUCK OFF,” on his Tumblr, and now TMZ reports that Chipotle received the money and the case has officially been settled. A rep from Chipotle says that the check they received wasn’t actually the one Ocean publicized with the explicit memo, but we’re pretty sure they still got the message.
