RVCA founder Pat Tenore describes his life as a “balance of opposites,” a belief that is firmly entrenched in his label, most recognizable in its “VA” symbol. It’s such outlook that allows the label to bring together athletes in the realms of skate and surf with those from the brutal world of MMA — bridging subcultures through passion and integrity. Aside from a firm footing in street apparel design, RVCA’s Artist Network Program showcases, with showings in RVCA galleries in San Francisco and Orange County, new outposts in Melbourne and Sydney, and more recently its participation in POW! WOW! Hawaii 2014 and project RVCAloha. In our latest Essentials, Tenore empties his pockets for us, exhibiting a black Rolex and an American Express Black Card, iPhone with The Seventh Letter x RVCA case alongside a bracelet, and badge from close friends Greg Chait and Eklipse. Check out his essentials and stay tuned for the next installment.
