Earlier today rumors began circling that the Community series would see a return from the departed Troy Barnes, known in the music world as Childish Gambino and to the real world as Donald Glover, as a result of an email that was apparently sent from Gambino in reference to his hackathon at SXSW.

Since then, it has been revealed by the Official Childish Gambino fansite on Twitter (below) that Gambino/Glover/Barnes will not be returning to the Community series. Still not convinced? The fifth season of Community completed its final day of shooting on December 9, and despite its success, it is yet to be officially confirmed for a sixth season with NBC.
To people asking about the hackathon/community email: it is fake.
