In a departure from the decidedly futuristic look of the designer’s adidas-assisted Y-3 range, Japanese great Yohji Yamamoto has teamed up with Dr. Martens to create his own take on the British brand’s signature boot for Spring/Summer 2014. Created to celebrate the anniversary of Yamamoto’s first Tokyo store opening in 1986 and based on an archival design, the limited edition 10-eye boot features a tonal black leather upper, steel toe, Goodyear welt and medial zippered closures. Retailing for £190 GBP (approximately $310 USD), the collaborative boot is now available via Britain’s oki-ni.
