Celebrating two decades since the release of his Illmatic project, Nas has announced a double-disc special edition version of the iconic hip-hop album with the release of Illmatic XX. A remastered version of the original album, Illmatic XX will contain rare remixes and unreleased songs, as well as a freestyle from 1993 that has never been heard before. Set to release April 15, the announcement of the Illmatic XX project comes alongside an ‘Illmatic tour’ which will kick off this Spring (full tour dates to be released).
