Having released their second official album, Love Death Immorality, just yesterday, Los Angeles-based electronic music duo The Glitch Mob has linked up with HYPETRAK as the featured artists for our newest Music Essentials. Starting off as a five-piece band that included current members, edIT, Boreta, Ooah, the mob was first created in 2006 and instantly picked up a following for their use of MIDI controllers paired with laptops. Although Love Death Immorality stands as the second full album from the group, they’ve made a name for themselves with an array of remixes, mixtapes and EPs, with the three-track We Can Make the World Stop EP in 2011 standing out as one of their most notable projects. Showcasing a selection of digital essentials, basic essentials and even literary essentials, The Glitch Mob offers up their favourites in regards to portable speakers, headphones, vaporizers, as well as eyewear and eyecare products. Maintaining a loyalty to Apple with three iPhones and looking towards Fujifilm to capture imagery, the band relies on the Glyph USB/FW800 harddrive to store images, music, travel content and more.
