With the 63rd NBA All-Star game set to take place February 16 (Live on TNT and ESPN Radio at 8 p.m. EST) it has been now been announced that Kendrick Lamar, Pharrell Williams and Janelle Monae are all set to take on the event as performers. Pharrell will kick off the show – accompanied by “surprise chart-topping musical guests” – and Monáe will take the stage at halftime with Trombone Shorty, Dr. John, and Earth, Wind & Fire, while Kendrick will perform the day before at the NBA Sprite Slam Dunk contest (to air 8 p.m. EST on February 15).
