Karen O featuring Ezra Koenig - The Moon Song

Fans of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Vampire Weekend can thank Spike Jonze for newest musical match made in heaven, as Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ vocalist Karen O has linked up with Vampire Weekend’s frontman Ezra Koenig to recreate a tune fromt the soundtrack of his film, Her. Originally showcased in the film as an acoustic guitar performance between protagonist Theodore Twombly (played by Joaquin Pheonix) and his AI, Samantha (voiced by Scarlett Johansson), Karen O initially co-wrote the song for the film’ soundtrack, and has now linked up with Ezra to bring the tune to completion with its studio version.
