The transition from designing at one of the world’s premier fashion culture magazines into children’s coloring books is likely no easy task, but Claude d’Avoine pulls it off with ease. Formerly a designer at Dazed, the London native recently partnered with a friend to create Colour Me Healthy – a coloring book aiming to encourage and instill good eating habits in youngsters. In considering everyday items, d’Avoine seems the ideal role model for little gentlemen: he keeps gum and cologne about him, a comb for grooming, and opts for tea instead of coffee in the morning. His wearables are nothing eccentric; fit-focused pieces – a slim pair of black Nudies and a black crewneck – are all the creative needs to feel comfortable.
