K-Swiss Re-Releases Its Award-Winng Si-18 International OG

Perhaps more than any other year, 2014 seemed to be summarized by the retro. With its peers peeling through their respective archives in pursuit of updating throwbacks, here American heritage tennis brand K-Swiss reappears at the forefront with the Si-18 International OG. The footwear imprint – admittedly dormant for a while – has re-released the tennis classic with its original colorway, materials and technologies, including the brand’s penchant Si-18 cushioning and a technical D-R-Cinch lacing system that harkening back to the security of vintage snow boots. The upper of the sneaker is done luxuriously in thick white leather, accented with four flags at the heel to represent the four Grand Slam host countries. Those particularly nostalgic for a piece of tennis history can pick up this release at specialty retailers and online now.
