DOOMSTARKS To Finally Be Released 2015?

When we think of “pushed back,” Dr. Dre’s Detox may be the first to come to mind. A pretty close contender, however, goes to the MF DOOM and Ghostface Killah DOOMSTARKS project. In 2005, the duo hint to us about an upcoming collaboration between the two. Nothing happened for four years until DOOM released “Angelz” on his last solo album Born Like This in 2009. However, excitement once died down again, as silence ensued for another two years. Suddenly out of nowhere, the duo drops a Madvillain remix of “Victory Lap.” That is the last we have heard from them — until today. In a Reddit AMA, Ghostface just announced that the long-awaited DOOMSTARKS album will be coming in 2015, a whopping ten years after their original announcement. Will this time be for real, or are they on some boy-who-cries-wolf tip? Let’s just wait (again) and see.
