With one of its team members already taking “Skater of the Year” honors this year – congratulations again to Wes Kremer – DC Shoes rides the momentum by introducing two young bloods to its squad. Baker Skateboards amateur Tristan Funkhouser and Canada’s best-kept secret Bobby De Keyzer join DC in epic fashion, each churning out a video part for “DEFUNKT,” which launched today. Though their styles indicate otherwise, Funkhouser and De Keyzer each impress with their work ethic: Funkhouser belies his frame with unexpected, unrestrained power across all terrains; we don’t imagine that De Keyzer’s last no comply came particularly easy.
